Who are Project Touchline?
In 2018, Chris Andrew founded Project Touchline, focusing on Christian values education in schools. He leverages his over 20 years of experience in primary and secondary education and UKCC Level 2 coaching qualifications in Rugby Union and Cricket. Additionally, from 2005 to 2011, he served at the Bath Rugby Education Centre. His contributions supported the acclaimed UK Government-funded “Playing for Success” initiative, which effectively used sports to enhance educational outcomes.
Additionally, voluntary lunchtime prayer clubs further foster spiritual growth and deepen discipleship among participants. This is an important aspect of Christian values education in schools. Since 2018, these voluntary lunchtime prayer clubs have impacted over 130 schools. This demonstrates their scalability and effectiveness. Project Touchline, aligned with Ofsted standards, effectively empowers, equips, and encourages students and staff to pursue a holistic education. It does so by seamlessly integrating their Christian values, sport, and faith.

Chris said:
Woodchurch Church of England Primary School, at the heart of its community, in the Wirral, Merseyside, is one of the oldest church schools in England founded in 1665. It is our first school within the Chester Diocesan Academies Trust. We discovered what it means to ‘live life in all its fullness’ through purposeful sport and meaningful Collective Worship.
The children embodied their THRIVE values — Trust, Hard Work, Resilience, Inspired, Valued and Enjoyment — in every activity, showing character, courage and joy. A deeply rooted Christian community where faith is lived out daily, and where we were able to plant something lasting and meaningful for the future.
A truly joyful and flourishing school, grounded in God and committed to every child thriving.
"I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
