Six Gardens One Community!
At Woodchurch CofE Primary School, Woodchurch, Wirral, we are passionate about creating inspiring outdoor spaces that nurture the wellbeing, creativity and curiosity of every child. We have an exciting vision to transform areas of our school grounds into six individual themed gardens, each designed to provide unique opportunities for learning, reflection and play. The proposed gardens will include spaces such as :-
1) A Reflection Garden for quiet contemplation and emotional wellbeing
2) A Small World Garden to encourage imaginative play
3) A Sports Garden
4) A Digging Area Garden
5) A Reflection Area
6) Small World Area
All themed areas promote environmental awareness, sensory exploration, reading, creativity and outdoor discovery. These gardens will become valuable extensions of our classrooms, enabling children to develop confidence, resilience and a deeper connection with nature through hands-on experiences.
To bring this ambitious project to life, we are seeking the support of our local community, businesses and organisations through Fundraising/sponsorship, donations of materials, expertise or volunteer time. By working together, we can create lasting spaces that will benefit not only our current pupils but generations of children to come. Every contribution, large or small, will help us provide enriching environments where children can learn, grow and flourish.
We believe that with the generosity and partnership of our community, we can turn this vision into a reality and create a legacy that reflects the values of care, hope and aspiration at the heart of Woodchurch CofE Primary School.
If you would like to volunteer/sponsor or help with the creation of these wonderful areas then please contact the school office for further details. We shall be highlighting the sponsors/volunteers on this page as we progress.
