Please see our Summer Newsletter

Thank you all so much for your incredible support and understanding during this difficult time. To help you support your children with their learning we have provided packs to take home. In addition we have set up resources on the school website with a range of resources for the children to access. These can found as follows:

When you open your child’s year group folder you will find ‘Purple Mash’. This is a resource that staff have regular access to and where tasks will be set for the children. They may be given a time limit in which to complete them, which the staff can check. Staff are also able to comment on the work done.

Some of the activities within the resources can be done on paper, hence the packs we have sent home. Others are to be done online.

If you have any difficulties or problems with it please message the school by telephone or email, using the schooloffice email or the following additional email:

Should you wish to share what the children have done at home, including any photographs we ask that you use this new email address to do so.

All the children will have work for the next two weeks and beyond, to at least the Easter Holiday. Staff will continue to update resources when and if necessary. Once again ‘Purple Mash’ is the key resource that will be used to direct pupils.

All children have usernames and passwords for the following:

  • Purple Mash
  • My Maths
  • TT Rockstars
  • SPAG.com

Should you struggle with usernames and passowrds, or your child loses or forgets them, please do not hesitate in contacting the school.

Timetables for the Day

As you will be aware children like structure and need to know what to do each day . In place of their usual school time table. Should you feel you need to organsie and structure your child’s day, and of course if you are able to, we have added a timetable below to help.

You could consider breaking the day into ‘chunks of time’.

We ask that any work and resources that the children use and complete are brought back into school when school resumes and children are directed to return.

I do hope the information in this letter helps you while you children are at home. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate in contacting the school. A member of staff will get back to you.
