Sir Tony Robinson Visit

On Friday 18th December, Sir Tony Robinson visited us in school. During his visit he read to our Year 2 class and he talked to us all in assembly about how he loved to write stories. Sir Tony was incredibly funny when he explained to us all about how Empires are formed and he then told us how the Egyptians mummified people - making sure that Mr McGregor volunteered to help with this!

Sir Tony also looked at the artefacts from our Big School Dig and was impressed with how our children could talk with enthusiasm about our finds.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Sir Tony for taking time out of his busy schedule to visit us. Also, we pass on our thanks to Miss Stebbing who organised the visit.

It truly was a fantastic morning which was summed up by Sir Tony perfectly, "Super behaviour, fantastic reading, a delightful school".
