William Whatley Visit

On Tuesday 3rd December, William Whatley from the British Antarctic Survey came to talk to the KS2 children all about his adventures at sea.

William is the captain of the RRS Sir David Attenborough and spoke to KS2 telling them about his role, what they are hoping to achieve from the research ship, and then answered lots of great questions from KS2 all about life in Antarctica and as a captain of a ship.

We'd like to thank William for his time, Mrs Benyon for organising the visit and our children for listening avidly. What a great morning!
